(this is actually for an activity in journ)
For the first part of this feature writing activity, I just want to say that it has been a very bumpy roller coaster ride for the past four years in Makati Science High School. There has been a different mixture of feelings. From happy to sad, here in MakSci you will experience it all. Well, if you are adventurous like me. Other people say that MakSci students are too smart, too GC and many more “too + adjectives.” They are wrong. We too are like them. Take it from the experience that I had been through during my stay. I experienced the most, the least, the best, the first and the last.
I will surely miss the fun the fun things that happened in the span of four years. It has been a blast to be with people that you don’t expect to be with just like this girl that I really don’t know why we became best of friends even though we fight like there is no tomorrow. Marrianne Luzzette Gilhang is the girl I’m talking about. We had been friends like every day of high school life. Even though we had fights that no one could stop, we still reconciled without hesitation. We also have another friend that was dear to us until a recent mix-up came to place. She had been a good friend and I considered her one of my best friends. Althea Mae Bilbao was a very outgoing person. We had lots of fun back then but walls were built. It is such a sad thing that a perfectly made friendship came to an end. But life must go on. Things change and people do. One of the special people I met during high school is Jairah Joy Cabebe. She is the girl that made me experience thing that I don’t normally do. She is a lot of fun. She is considered the life of every occasion.
I have this group of friends that made my stomach hurt whenever I’m with them. They are Jairah, Mark Mira, Lexter, Edgar, Ella, Zyrene, Czar, Anan and Don. We are called TEAM MCDO. We always hang out in McDonlad’s Rockwell Branch. We would spend hours just laughing to jokes and laughing to stories and comments that were made. There was never a dull moment with these guys. But when Mira was out of MakSci, we were slightly separated. But we make sure that we meet in a certain special day just to spend quality time with each other. We also had our “tampuhan moments” but we make it to a point that we will reunite to each other.
I also encountered a group of people that made me experience the company of other people’s comfort. What I’m talking about right now is IV-FERMI 2010-2011. People in this section made me stronger, I guess. I don’t have lots of old-time friends here. They taught me to socialize more with the people that I’m not comfortable being with. Some of this people were friends and turned out to be “is friends”. Not to mention the fun that they share with me, I consider them PEOPLE that will remain with me forever. It was a delight being with people like Jethro, Lysette (Inspi), Innah, Lexter, Monica, Lenny, Junela, Cali and the rest of the gang.
High school will never be the same without this entire people that is mentioned here. You made it so easy and at the same time hard to live with the pressure in MakSci. Thank You!
